About the role
Council is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Supervisor to join their Field Services team and lead a team responsible for undertaking horticultural maintenance on Council's parks, sportsgrounds and roadside corridors.
Responsibilities will include:
* Formulate and implement park and horticultural maintenance programs and co- ordinate work team, contractors, materials, and machinery in relation to these programs and other parkland development projects.
* Plan weekly and daily work schedules/routines.
* Plan, produce and implement work schedules in relation to general maintenance and parkland development projects to ensure the timely and accurate completion of all allocated tasks.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Current "C" Class Driver's Licence.
* Current QLD A.C.D.C Licence or be able to obtain within 6 months of appointment.
* To undertake this position, you will need to be immunised against Q Fever
* Workers must pass a respirator fit test before they start wearing a tight-fitting respirator and at regular intervals during their employment.
