Solutions Architect

The solution architect shall be responsible the conversion of therequirements (functional and non functional) into an architecture and designblueprint for the new regulatory licensing solution.
As part of the team delivering the new regulatory licensing solution thesolution architect focuses on solution-level decisions and analysis of theirimpact on the overall business goals and outcomes.
The solution architect needs to have a balanced mix of skills covering eacharchitecture domain (business, data, application and technology), industryknowledge, communication, stakeholder management, leadership, problem solving,decision making and negotiation skills:
The solution architect shall be responsible for:
3. Identify and model the current state architecture such, application, data, end user and mobility services, security management services, network and cloud services.
4. Analysis and decomposition of business requirements, non-functional requirements and models and other artefacts to inform the target state architecture.Produce technical architecture, integration and design artefacts.
5. Work with product teams to proactively inform and come up with technical options and designs to solve business problems.
6. Work with Enterprise Architect and broader architecture team to ensure options and designs are consistent with the broader target state architecture, standards, principles and the strategic direction for the Department of Customer Service
7. Participate and manage multiple product streams informing the iterative build process ensuring the agreed work is completed within the required sprint time frames required timelines.
8. Responsible for ensuring that technical services perform, scale, are reliable and meet availability and redundancy requirements.
9. Monitor and review technology vendors and ICT deliverables for accuracy, quality and alignment to the solution architecture.
Experience
10. Experience working in an Architecture role within a large, complex organisation. (Government experience is highly desirable).
11. At least 5 years’ experience as a Solution Architect
12. Hands-on expertise in the following technologies: CRM or Case Management or equivalent products.
13. Hands on integration architecture experience including iPaaS, API Gateways, ETL, ESB and related technologies (eg REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, etc).
14. Experience in database technologies (SQL Server, ODBC).
15. Knowledge of different development technologies and frameworks such as Java/, JS, and common frameworks and libraries (such as spring, hibernate, React, Angular etc).
16. Experience with Azure and AWS
Qualifications
17. Must have a tertiary qualification in IT, Systems or SoftwareEngineering, Computer Science, Digital, Information Management, or equivalent

Salary Grade 11/12, with the base salary for this role startingat $139787 base plus superannuation
