Charingfield Aged Care Community – Waverley NSW
Are you an organized and people-focused administrator looking to join a warm and caring team? We're currently seeking a Full‑Time Admissions Officer.


Role

As an admissions officer you will manage the process of welcoming new residents and families, ensuring a smooth transition for all parties.

* Coordinate administrative aspects of the resident admissions process.
* Ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and efficiently, including applications, financial agreements and other relevant forms.
* Maintain occupancy rates by effectively managing inquiries and tours.
* Assist with resident enquiries.
* Build rapport with prospective residents and their families.
* Liaise with clinical staff to arrange pre‑admission assessments.
* Manage waitlist and work closely with the Residential Service Manager and broader team to ensure residents receive high‑quality, respectful and responsive care.


Qualifications

* At least two (1‑2) years of experience as an administrator, ideally in aged care or allied health, or equivalent qualifications in business, administration, accounts, finance, HRM (or working towards).
* Experience in multitasking, problem‑solving and prioritising a busy workload.
* Good keyboard skills and IT literacy, with intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
* Excellent verbal and written communication, collaboration and teamwork.
* Demonstrated kindness, empathy and support in a busy work environment.
* Positive can‑do attitude.
* NDIS clearance or willingness to obtain.
