Senior Fund Accountant Role
As a seasoned fund accountant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering accurate and timely financial statements to our clients. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth administration of various asset funds.
This is an excellent opportunity for you to utilize your analytical skills and technical knowledge to transform our fund administration processes. You will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure compliance and efficiency in all aspects of fund administration.
* You will assume responsibility for a diverse portfolio of real and alternative asset funds, including private equity, private debt, private credit, and fund of funds.
* Key responsibilities include managing relationships with stakeholders, preparing and reviewing client deliverables, and ensuring regulatory obligations are met.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Navigate NAV calculation and unit pricing (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual)Management Accounts PacksStatutory Financial Statements (half year and year end)Distribution calculationsManagement and performance fee calculationsLiaison with brokers, fund managers, and custodiansSystem and process documentationAssisting with audit processes alongside external auditors and service providersActing as the first point of contact for designated client relationships
2. We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual who can deliver accurate and timely work under deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, combined with advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills, are essential for this role.
Requirements:
* A strong understanding of accounting principles, fund administration, and unit pricing is required for this position. Relevant qualifications in accounting and/or finance are advantageous but not essential.
* An ability to take initiative in following up and problem-solving in a timely manner is crucial for success in this role.
