As an Intermediate Accountant, you will gain exposure to a wide range of entity types and industries, including clients with high turnovers. You'll receive excellent mentoring, support for your CA/CPA studies, and genuine career development opportunities.
About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
* A completed Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or similar)
* 3+ years' experience working in an Australian public practice firm
* CA/CPA qualification (completed or currently studying)
* Australian citizenship or permanent residency
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation of income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies, and trusts
* Preparation of financial accounts for complex entity structures
* Applying relevant taxation legislation to a variety of client scenarios
* Preparation of Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) returns
* Assisting clients with management accounting using various accounting software
* Liaising directly with clients to gather required financial information
* Ensuring compliance with Australian Taxation Office (ATO) deadlines
