About Our Annerley OSHC Service
Our OSHC program supports students from Mary Immaculate Catholic Primary School and the wider Annerley community. As part of Annerley Ekibin Parish, we provide after‑school care for up to 45 children in a safe, welcoming environment. We offer a balanced mix of indoor and outdoor activities that are enjoyable, engaging and designed to support each child's social, emotional and developmental growth. By building strong relationships with families, we tailor our program to meet individual needs. Prep students are personally collected from their classrooms every afternoon to ensure a smooth, reassuring transition into OSHC.
We Are Seeking An Educator Who Will
* Provide warm, nurturing care and supervision to children
* Maintain a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment
* Create enjoyable recreational and educational experiences
* Build and maintain positive relationships with team members
* Work collaboratively with the team to support the best outcomes for children and families
* Participate in fun excursions during vacation care
* Come to work with energy and a genuine passion for making a meaningful difference in the lives of children
What you need
* Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines or Working towards it
* Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
* Knowledge and understanding of the childcare industry practices including legislative requirements and quality frameworks.
* A passion for the education and care of children aged 6 weeks - Kindergarten aged in a play‑based learning environment
* Effective workplace communication skills
* Willingness to undertake training as required
