Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Junior Broker Assistant to join our team at Surefire Insurance Brokers' in Leederville, Western Australia. This Full-time role will provide essential broking support to our busy office, allowing our team to focus on delivering exceptional customer service and growing our business.
Responsibilities
* Support the team in managing their portfolio of clients' insurance, risk management and programs
* Prepare client documentation and invoices. (for example, renewal questionnaires, new business and renewal quotes, and client manuals)
* Maintaining and developing business relationships with new and existing clients via phone and email
* Developing and maintaining meaningful working relationships with our underwriting partners
* Undertake professional development (achieve and maintain compliance with the relevant legislative requirements)
Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years' experience in an broking support role, ideally within the insurance industry
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with both internal and external stakeholders
* Strong organisational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite
* A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure
