The Role
Make a difference in our community!
This is an exciting position developing architectural plans and designs for future projects in the Capital Program. The projects may include sport and recreation, community centres, libraries, MCH and early learning centres, as well as office accommodation for staff. This role will be expected to undertake site assessments and investigations, consultation with key stakeholders and develop various options with high level cost estimates. The position will also provide technical advice, CAD drafting support and assist with the preparation of future business cases, budgets and grant applications.
About you
We are looking for an individual who has a high level of competency in preparing architectural designs to a specified standard and also experience in developing solutions that are timely, within budget and in a sustainable manner.
You will have previous experience in a similar role and tertiary qualifications in architecture with significant experience in infrastructure development, project and contract management.
