Expressions of interest are sought for the position, Maintenance Coordinator, at our Oberon plant.
The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for optimising plant performance by managing the day-to-day Plant maintenance ensuring compliance with legislations, site standards, policies, and procedures. The role will maintain the safe mechanical operation of the plant with a target to reduce unplanned downtime while continually supporting and implementing maintenance strategies and procedures. Responsibilities also include contributing to and actively participating in the ongoing transition to pro-active maintenance services and accurately registering work data in the maintenance systems. The Maintenance Coordinator will review performance reports and develop strategies to reduce downtime and optimise plant performance.
To be successful in this role, applicants will have:
* Trade or Engineering qualifications and experience
* Experience within a continuous production process
* Strong interpersonal skills to bridge the gap between production teams and tradesmen.
* Demonstrated experience in relation to downtime reduction strategy development and implementation
Demonstrated ability to schedule work and manage contractors
* A desire and ability to learn
* Initiative and self motivation to maintain high standards in safety, quality and customer service
A desire to strive for continuous improvement and goal oriented
Computer literacy
A demonstrated understanding of and commitment to safety principles.
