IT Project Manager – Role Summary The IT Project Manager is responsible for leading the successful delivery of technology and business initiatives, with a primary focus on implementing SharePoint and Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions, including data migration from legacy systems. This role oversees all project phases from planning to execution, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy, data integrity, and minimal business disruption.
Rate: $111.60/hr
Key Responsibilities
* Project Leadership: Plan, manage, and deliver complex IT projects on time and within budget. Define objectives, deliverables, and milestones in collaboration with stakeholders while applying structured project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
* Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison for project communications. Lead meetings, manage expectations, and provide regular progress updates to senior leadership and the IT Program Control Group.
* Risk & Change Management: Identify and mitigate risks, manage change processes, and ensure smooth adoption of new systems and processes through effective training and communication.
* Process Optimisation: Evaluate post-implementation performance, analyse data to measure effectiveness, and identify opportunities for ongoing improvement and efficiency gains.
* Technical Problem Solving: Investigate and resolve technology-related issues, coordinate with internal teams or external experts as needed, and recommend practical, compliant solutions.
