This is a temporary full-time position to commence from 20 April until 11 December 2026, with the possibility of extension. About The Role
As the Head of Department - learning and teaching, key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
* Instructional leadership across the whole school community, working collaboratively with the Associate Principal - Learning & Teaching, to lead the school's strategic direction of Learning and Teaching practices, providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
* Lead with a future mindset, actively engaging in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
* Lead implementation of consistent pedagogical practices to deliver a guaranteed and viable curriculum.
* Develop teacher quality through leadership of the Early Career Teachers' Program.
* Lead, support and improve teacher capability to build classroom practice, where all students engage, think deeply, and experience success.
* Drive teacher quality and performance to provide learning and teaching that fully engages students in their learning.
