What You'll Be Doing
* Designing and building backend systems that handle real complexity - cleanly and at scale
* Raising the bar for engineering quality through thoughtful reviews and technical leadership
* Working closely with product, design, and data to deliver features that have genuine user impact
* Contributing to architectural decisions across a modern, evolving platform
* Helping shape engineering culture where autonomy, trust, and craft matter more than red tape
What You Bring
* Strong backend experience with Python (Django, Flask, or FastAPI)
* Solid cloud knowledge (AWS or Azure) and experience with CI/CD pipelines
* Experience building scalable, resilient systems in production
* Familiarity with microservices, event-driven architecture, and distributed systems
* A track record of mentoring or supporting other engineers
* A mindset that values simplicity, clarity, and long-term quality over quick hacks
