Neil Perry's celebrated Italian restaurant, Gran Torino, along with its hidden basement bar, Bar Torino, is seeking a talented Pastry Chef to join our kitchen team. This is a rare opportunity to work in a high-end, fast-paced environment where quality, creativity, and precision are at the heart of everything we do.
About the Role
As our Pastry Chef, you will:
* Prepare pastries, desserts, and sweet creations to the exacting standards of Gran Torino and Bar Torino.
* Assist with plating and finishing desserts during service to ensure every dish meets our signature quality.
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment in both the open kitchen and prep areas.
* Manage stock rotation, deliveries, and daily prep lists with attention to detail.
* Uphold all Food Safety and WH&S standards in the kitchen.
* Contribute to end-of-shift cleaning and overall kitchen efficiency.
About You
* Passionate about premium ingredients and delivering exquisite desserts.
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a fast-paced commercial kitchen.
* Completed Industry-approved qualifications in Commercial Cookery or Pastry.
* Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and a collaborative mindset.
* Able to thrive in a professional, high-standard kitchen environment.
