With a commitment to continuous improvement, they are now seeking a technically strong and commercially minded Senior Tax Accountant to join their high-performing finance team. Based in Western Sydney, the role offers flexible hybrid working and exposure to complex, multinational tax matters.
Your New Role
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will take ownership of tax compliance and reporting for the Group, managing both direct and indirect tax obligations. You'll oversee tax effect accounting, transfer pricing and international reporting, while advising the business on the implications of tax changes and driving process improvements. Key duties include:
* Managing all tax compliance obligations (income tax, GST, FBT, payroll tax) and associated reporting schedules.
* Preparing and reviewing tax effect accounting and deferred tax calculations for group reporting.
* Leading transfer pricing and international tax programs, ensuring compliance with global standards and ATO requirements.
* Providing technical tax advice and coaching to finance and operational teams.
* Partnering with auditors, regulators, and global counterparts to ensure accuracy and compliance across all tax matters.
About You:
* You're CA or CPA qualified with 6-8 years' corporate tax experience in a large or complex commercial environment.
* You bring strong technical knowledge of Australian tax legislation, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to improving systems and controls.
* Strong Interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication
