Are you a passionate Registered Nurse looking for your next role? We have on offer a permanent position in either a full time or part time capacity within our Paediatric team based at Blue Mountains District ANZAC Memorial Hospital.
Your role as Registered Nurse will see you strive to achieve optimal outcomes for patients/clients and carers of the service through the promotion of best practice including the appropriate escalation of care. Your success in this role will be guided by your ability to maintain and promote a professional standard evidenced by ethical nursing practice, adherence to the policies and procedures of the Nursing and Midwifery Service, NBMLHD and the appropriate legislation and statutory regulations. You will work collaboratively, utilising effective team communication with members of the multidisciplinary health team in the planning, implementation, assessment and evaluation of patient care.

What you will bring to the role
1. Current registration as Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
2. Demonstrated experience and clinical skill in Paediatric Nursing as a registered nurse (including Completion of a new graduate RN program or equivalent experience working as a Registered Nurse)
3. Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
4. Demonstrated evidence of being able to provide person centred care
5. Demonstrated effective communication skills – written and verbal
6. Demonstrated commitment to professional development
7. Demonstrated experience in special care nursery/NICU desirable or willingness to be trained in special care nursing.
8. Ability to work a flexible roster, day, evening or night shift across all days of the week according to the unit/service requirements.
