Operations and Port Planning Graduate Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented graduate to join our team through a two-year graduate programme focused on inventory control and operations planning.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with a passion for agriculture and operations to gain valuable industry experience and contribute to the success of a global organisation.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Inventory & Systems Training: Develop expertise in stock management, stocktakes, waste grain processes, and inventory reporting.
* Operations & Logistics Exposure: Gain practical experience in plant operations, shipping, grain handling, and road and rail logistics.
* Planning & Scheduling: Assist with production planning, rail scheduling, container packing updates, and daily coordination tasks.
* Quality, Food Safety & Compliance: Undergo training in grain classification, food safety systems, and support quality investigations and audits.
* Customer & Commercial Understanding: Learn how customer orders are managed through direct exposure to customer service and order fulfilment processes.
* Cross-Site & Support Experience: Rotate across multiple sites, provide leave cover, and support a range of operational and administrative tasks.
About You:
* Completion of a degree in agricultural science or other relevant discipline in the last 12 months.
* Sound knowledge of technology to support business and delivery of role.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
