The Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is an exciting opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join the finance team in a full‐time capacity. This role will play a key part in month‐end processes, financial reporting, and supporting overall finance operations. You'll gain exposure to a broad range of accounting tasks while working in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
* Assist with day‐to‐day financial operations and banking queries
* Contribute to month‐end and year‐end closing processes
* Assist with the budgeting and forecasting
* Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and ad hoc financial reports
* Identify and implement improvements to financial procedures
* Manage the Fixed Asset Register
* Assist with the preparation and lodgement of monthly tax compliance
* Provide backup support for the payroll function
The Candidate
* CA/CPA qualified (or working towards)
* Minimum 3 years' experience
* Excellent attention to detail, proactive, solutions‐focused and eager to grow and learn.
* Open to both industry experience or ideal for someone looking to make their 1st move out of business services
* Your interpersonal and communication skills are exceptional, consistently displaying a willingness to provide ongoing support to all key stakeholders.
* You will have demonstrated strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
