Our ConsMin Australian operation (Woodie Woodie) is based in the WA Pilbara, 407kms south-east of Port Hedland. ConsMin's Pilbara based Woodie Woodie Mine and West Perth Operations headquarters creates jobs for over 400 likeminded, experienced and talented people who are driven by our Company Values of Dedication, Teamwork, Simplicity, Excellence and Innovation.
Reporting to the Team Lead Mining, the successful applicants will be required to:
* Operate various mining mobile plant which consists of predominantly: Excavators - Cat 6020B and Ex 3600, Graders:-Cat Graders 16M and 18M, Dozers: Cat D10T & D10T2 & 854K, FEL; Cat 992, Dump Trucks: 777F/G and 789 and Cat Water Carts: 777F
* Dozer task - consist of Floor clean ups to dig RL, Drill pattern preparation, Waste dump pushing and keeping RL correct and Clearing topsoil areas
* Grader task - maintaining haul roads (able to keep camber and Crown on roads), Pit haul roads and running track maintenance and Drill pattern preparation
* Excavator task - Backup operator as required, in a production environment
* Dump Truck task - Hot seating is performed on site or fill in when short staffed
To be successful in this role you will have
* Minimum Valid C class driver's license
* Current Clear National Police Clearance (Issued no earlier than 6 months)
* Significant experience operating the above machinery in an open pit production mining environment
* Strong commitment to following health, safety and environment policies and procedures
* Excellent organizational, communication skills and high attention to detail.
