Overview
Komatsu Mining Technologies is offering a career-building opportunity for a Site Manager to join our Regional Service Team.
This pivotal role will have you leading our Curragh Mammoth Mine site-based service team, supporting our customer operating a new fleet of Komatsu bord and pillar mining equipment.
The role
Reporting to the Regional General Manager, this role involves managing daily site and business operations, including ensuring site safety, maintaining equipment, responding to breakdowns, staff scheduling, customer interaction, and reporting as per contractual obligations.
You will be a key part of the site management team, fostering strong customer relationships within the organization and with external clients.
Requirements
Successful candidates will have Mechanical/Electrical trade and/or engineering qualifications, with underground coal mining experience on continuous miners, shuttle cars, and related equipment.
You should also be able to:
* Build and foster genuine relationships
* Mentor, support, and coordinate a team of service personnel
* Monitor and report on product performance
* Lead and drive continuous improvement processes
