The client base is diverse, ranging from high-net-worth individuals and family groups through to private businesses and boards.
About the Role
As a Manager in the Tax & Business Services division, you will oversee a portfolio of clients and lead a team of accountants. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality outcomes for clients, providing strategic advice, and supporting the professional development of your team. This is a leadership role with responsibility for client management, technical oversight, and contributing to the broader strategic direction of the firm.
Key responsibilities
Leading client engagements across bookkeeping, accounting, reporting, and advisory services
Providing timely and accurate tax and business advisory solutions
Mentoring and developing a team of accountants (6–10 staff within a division of 30+)
Reviewing and resolving complex accounting and compliance matters
Driving operational improvements and process efficiencies
Contributing to business development and client relationship initiatives
Collaborating with peers and directors in a flat, team-based environment
Skills and Experience
CA/CPA qualification and a minimum of 6+ years in public practice
Strong technical knowledge of Australian tax legislation and accounting standards
Proven ability to manage complex client portfolios
Leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and grow a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A commercially minded, proactive approach with strong problem-solving ability
A collaborative and ethical work style, aligned with a supportive and non-hierarchical culture
