Locum Paediatric Occupational Therapist – late January/early February
Late January/early February for 2‑3 months with possible extension. Return flights covered and free accommodation.
Community focus with some inpatients; approximately 80‑90% community caseload.
Community Caseload
* Generalist with paediatric experience (higher paeds caseload)
* Paediatric assessment to support accessing NDIS early intervention (ADOS trained preferred)
* Adults generalist (equipment, home modifications)
* Aged care (equipment, home modifications, MyAged Care experience preferred)
* Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families (preferred)
* Experience delivering specialist outreach services to remote communities (preferred)
Hospital Caseload
* Generalist with hand therapy experience
* Emergency Department – hands/head injury
* Ward – subacute with 2 x rehab beds (predominantly stroke, fractures)
* Paediatric ward – developmental assessments
* Outpatients – hand therapy
Additional Information
* Late January/early February for 2‑3 months with possible extension

* Must be confident working with minimal support
* Experience working with Aboriginal clients preferred
* 85% of the caseload is Indigenous, with 50% coming from remote communities
