**Your new role**
- Key role in supporting the deliverables of the contract with safety paramount
- Create construction plans and documentation with support from the broader team
- Create and review construction schedule. Incorporate information from system design and engineering, external contractors, supply chain and project management. Critical path management
- Participate in constructability and risk assessment workshops
- Daily construction plan and work orders planning for projects
- Monitor and oversee civil, structural, mechanical and electrical work at the project site to ensure it meets contractual obligation
- Ensure photovoltaic and wind projects are built according to plans created and submitted
- Cross functional co-ordination with - Engineering, Project management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Quality, and all support functions as needed
- Review all contractors QA plans & procedures and bring all plans into conformance with project requirements
- Review plans and procedures periodically and institute changes if necessary
- Foster and develop a project team effort and assist in resolving differences.
- Review of projects on day to day basis on the progress milestones.
- Be updated on liquidity planning and cost calculations
- Identify, source and qualify subcontractors and suppliers for projects
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Solar or Wind farm construction proven track record with overarching commitment to safety
- Experience with planning and developing construction and commissioning documentation
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering / Construction management or equivalent
- Renewable energy / energy industry background
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Exceptional communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Dynamic and solution orientated.
