We are seeking Heavy Plant Maintenance Technicians to join our maintenance team in various locations across Western Australia. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure long-term work on a range of OEM equipment.
About the Role
This role will involve carrying out diagnostics, repairs, and servicing of heavy mobile plant. You will work across open-cut mining gear including loaders, trucks, dozers, shovels, and excavators. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing pre-starts, risk assessments, and safety documentation, as well as liaising with internal teams and site stakeholders to minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out diagnostics, repairs, and servicing of heavy mobile plant
* Work across a range of mining equipment including loaders, trucks, dozers, shovels, and excavators
* Manage pre-starts, risk assessments, and safety documentation
* Liaise with internal teams and site stakeholders to minimize downtime
Requirements
* Heavy Mechanical Trade qualification (AUS/NZ recognized)
* 3-5+ years post-trade experience
* Proven experience working with OEMs such as CAT, Hitachi, Komatsu, Epiroc
* Background in mining or civil mobile equipment maintenance
* Manual driver's license
* High Risk Work Licenses (desirable)
* Able to pass pre-employment medical & DAS
* Current National Police Clearance
