About the team

CoreMod is a multi-year program modernising the Reserve Bank of Australia's core technology platforms to strengthen the resilience, security and sustainability of Australia's critical payment and banking systems. It plays a key role in enabling safe and effective migrations and business readiness across the Bank.

Responsibilities

* Coordinate engagement and readiness activities across CoreMod initiatives, including complex migrations and transition phases.
* Plan and support a range of engagement activities, including executive briefings, bank-wide stakeholder forums and internal staff all-hands meetings.
* Work closely with Executive Assistants and senior leaders to coordinate time-critical meetings, often at short notice, requiring persistence, diplomacy and flexibility.
* Develop and maintain engagement, readiness and delivery plans, schedules and milestones using Jira and MS Project.
* Track and manage project risks, issues, actions and dependencies, with a strong focus on business readiness and operational impact.
* Support activities relating to exemptions, including security or related approvals, coordinating inputs across multiple stakeholders.
* Monitor progress against plans, identify issues early and support corrective actions.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of CoreMod engagement and readiness practices.

* You are an experienced, resilient Project Coordinator who is comfortable operating in complex environments and engaging confidently with senior stakeholders.
* 5 - 10 years' experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role within large, complex organisations or transformation programs.
* High emotional intelligence (EQ), with the ability to build trust, read stakeholder dynamics and adapt your approach.
* Demonstrated experience working with C-suite executives and senior leaders, including coordinating executive-level meetings.
* Experience supporting exemptions processes, ideally including security exemptions, in regulated or controlled environments.
* Strong perseverance and follow-through, particularly when coordinating urgent, last-minute requests across busy stakeholder groups.
* Hands-on experience using Jira and MS Project to manage schedules, actions and dependencies.
* Excellent organisational and coordination skills, with a structured, proactive working style.
* Clear, confident communication skills and experience working within project governance frameworks.
