About the role
Join the team at Greater West Steel Traders' as a full-time Rigid Truck Driver based in Penrith, NSW. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods to our customers across the Greater Western Sydney region. If you have experience driving rigid trucks and a passion for providing excellent customer service, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing
* Safely operate and maintain a rigid truck to deliver goods to customers
* Load and unload the truck, ensuring cargo is secured properly
* Provide outstanding customer service and liaise with clients to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
* Comply with all road rules, safety regulations and company policies
* Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
* Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
What we're looking for
* A current Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's licence
* Strong customer service skills and a professional, courteous manner
* Excellent time management and organisational abilities
* A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk management
* The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
