This Site Supervisor position is tailor‑made for someone with fitout experience who thrives in night‑shift operations and enjoys taking ownership of site outcomes.
About the Role
As the Site Supervisor – Night Shift, you will oversee and coordinate all on‑site activities for a commercial fitout project. Working from approximately 5–6 pm, you'll manage trades, safety, sequencing and daily reporting to ensure the project progresses smoothly and aligns with program and quality expectations.
Responsibilities
* Supervise trades and manage night‑shift safety and compliance
* Ensure work meets drawings, specifications and quality standards
* Manage short‑term schedules, site diaries and coordination reports
* Oversee logistics, materials handling and site readiness
* Maintain communication with stakeholders and support inspections and defect close‑out
* Keep the site organised, safe and aligned with project milestones
Requirements
* Experience as a Site Supervisor or foreman within commercial fitout or refurbishment
* Carpenter background or Cert IV in Building & Construction (highly regarded)
* Strong understanding of construction sequencing and finishing standards
* Confidence managing trades, night‑shift operations and stakeholder expectations
* Excellent communication, leadership and problem‑solving capability
* QBCC Site Supervisor licence (advantageous but not essential)
* White card and relevant construction experience
