As a Principal Planning Officer, you will work with either the Sunshine Coast, Mackay, Cairns or Rockhampton teams, supporting the department in delivering customer focused, high-quality planning and development outcomes for the current and future Queensland communities. The Planning Services Division plays a pivotal role in delivering customer-focused, high-quality planning and development outcomes for both current and future Queensland communities. You will assist local governments in implementing the State's planning agenda through local planning instruments, and as the State Assessment Referral Agency (SARA), play a critical role in assessing development applications on behalf of the State.
