Great opportunity to work with a well-established and reputable civil contractor on projects such as demolition, excavation, capping, cut and fill, remediation and rehabilitation etc.
Our client is a well-established and market leading civil contractor, they are looking for an experienced and dedicated Civil Site Supervisor to join their growing business.
Our client provides their services across a number of industry sectors such as building construction, industrial, mining and resources, transport infrastructure, environmental etc. and you will be responsible for contributing to the successful delivery of a number of challenging projects.
Types of projects include demolition, excavation, cut and fill, retention, piling, foundations, ground improvement, soft and hard landscaping, site remediation and rehabilitation etc.
Typical values from $2.5 to $25m but can go up to $30m+
This project will be site based in the Hunter region.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Supervision of crews, plant, machinery, and subcontractors on site
- Lead the production, support and delivery of the projects in line with time, cost, and quality and compliance requirements
- Programme daily site works
- Coordination of employees, subcontractors, plant and equipment
- Provide advice, direction and support to the project staff
- Ensure compliance with WHS policies and procedures
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 to 15+ years’ experience on civil projects, must have bulk earthworks experience
- Proven ability to effectively lead and delegate
- Well-developed skills in planning and scheduling
- Effective problem solving abilities
- High level of organisation and time management skills
- Strong computer & paperwork skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite
