Supporting Young People in Your Community
Berry Street is a leading independent agency providing innovative programs to over 35,000 young people, children and families across Victoria each year.
We strive to create safe environments where children, young people and families can flourish. Our goal is to make a positive impact every day.
About the Program
The Children's Contact Service offers a suite of services to support separated parents experiencing entrenched conflict.
Funded by the Australian Federal Government, this service aims to minimize a child's exposure to conflictual situations by assisting separated parents in managing contact arrangements through supervised visits and changeovers.
Your Opportunity
As a weekend worker, you will supervise visits and facilitate changeovers between parents and children, prioritizing their safety and wellbeing. You will also provide support to families utilizing the service as required.
Your Skills & Experience
We are seeking a qualified individual with a minimum Diploma of Social Work or Community Services. Previous experience in case noting, observations and facilitation skills is highly regarded.
Berry Street Benefits
We offer a culture that values professional development, regular reflective supervision and access to the Employee Assistance Program.
