Job Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to take on the role of a Head Chef in our hospitality team. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional food services to residents while ensuring a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
Main Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality meals tailored to the dietary, cultural, and medical needs of residents.
* Lead daily operations, uphold food safety standards, manage stock, and foster a positive team culture.
* Provide leadership, training, guidance, and support to kitchen staff, ensuring seamless kitchen operations.
Key Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Catering Manager or Head Chef.
* Experience in an Aged Care setting is desirable but not essential.
* Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualifications.
* Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety practices in line with aged care standards.
