About the Role

The primary role of a TAFE SA Lecturer is to provide a quality educational service of training, assessment, and guidance to students in accordance with relevant training package objectives.

TAFE SA is seeking an experienced, motivated professional to join our Lecturing team.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about education and have current animal science industry experience with the ability to apply their skills to a broad range of tasks, relating to work within the companion animal industries.

Qualifications / Requirements

* Minimum 5 years of relevant industry and / or teaching experience in Animal Science.
* Minimum Certificate III in Animal Studies or related field qualifications.
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or a Diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education.
* High level of current technical expertise in Animal Science or a relevant discipline area.


Special Conditions

* Must provide evidence of a valid DHS Working with Children Check (WWCC) prior to commencing employment.
* Applicants who do not currently hold a WWCC will be required to apply through the Department of Human Services (DHS).
* Out-of-hours work may be required and a flexible approach to the hours of duty is essential.
* Some intrastate and interstate travel may be required.
* May be required to relocate to other campuses within TAFE SA.
* Incumbent will be required to participate in the Department's performance Development Program.
* A flexible approach to the taking of leave is essential.
* Eligible to work in Australia.
