Job DescriptionAs the Workforce Planning and Training Manager, you'll lead the Workforce Planning team in delivering timely, accurate, and compliant employee rosters for our YouFoodz Custom Facility.
You'll also oversee a small Production Recruitment team, and Production Training Team ensuring our facility is effectively staffed, trained, and operationally efficient.This role is based in Karawatha and reporting to the Head of Manufacturing, pivotal in driving workforce efficiency, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.You will...Lead the Workforce Planning team, including the Production Talent Acquisition Officer and Production Trainers, to deliver effective, timely, and compliant rostering, recruitment, and training for operational employees.Provide workforce planning recommendations that optimise labour efficiency and minimise costs, while maintaining compliance with employment legislation and industrial instruments.Build and maintain strong relationships with managers and supervisors to implement effective rostering systems and processes across the custom facility.Collaborate with Payroll, People Operations, and third-party agencies to support recruitment, attendance management, and smooth cross-functional workflows.Oversee the accuracy and maintenance of rostering systems, employee details, and workforce planning documentation, including process guides and cheat sheets.Lead the delivery and reporting of key workforce metrics, providing insights on overtime, meal breaks, shift swaps, absenteeism, and operational workforce performance.Drive recruitment strategy for production roles, including agency partnerships.Deliver structured onboarding and training programs to build capability and performance.Partner with Payroll, People Operations, and site leadership to ensure seamless workforce coordination.Represent Workforce Planning in operational projects and stakeholder engagements, driving continuous improvement initiatives.Foster a safe, high-performing workplace culture grounded in accountability, empathy, and adherence to WorkSafe, HelloFresh Group, and OH&S standards.You have...Previous experience in workforce planning, rostering and recruitment, whilst leading and developing teams.Experience working with and interpreting Awards.Experience in continuous improvement and quality control will be highly regardedincluding lean manufacturingExcellent communication skills and a strong commitment to teamwork.Experience in data analysis (desirable).
