The Aerospace Surveillance and Response Branch within Defence is seeking an Aviation Maintenance Systems Manager to join our Logistics Management Unit team to perform complex material logistics work in support of ISR project acquisitions.
The Aviation Maintenance Systems Manager is required to work independently, exercise initiative and judgement to design and establish maintenance management systems that are compliant with regulatory frameworks and polices.
You will lead a small team and provide technical advice and support in relation to the development and execution of project plans, support concepts and strategies.

FISRSPO's mission is to acquire and integrate leading edge airborne ISR platforms and support the fifth generation Air Force and be ready, resilient and resourceful. At this current point in time, FISRSPO is responsible for the acquisition and introduction to service of the MQ-4C Triton and MC-55 Peregrine.
At every level and at every opportunity, FISRSPO cultivates our people within a matrixed organisation of functional disciplines as force multipliers to bring futuristic capabilities to the present and deliver leading edge ISR platforms to the RAAF, and specialises in 'first of type' leading edge technologies.
FISRSPO also works collaboratively with industry to identify the future of ISR capabilities to support and enable the fifth generation RAAF, be they crewed or uncrewed aerial platforms.

- Is dynamic and can lead a small team.
- Has previous experience in project management and/or integrated logistics support.
- Has an aerospace technical background.
- Understands the principles and requirements of establishing a maintenance support system.
- Understands Directorate of Aviation Safety Regulation (DASR) and Continuing Airworthiness Manager (CAM) service requirements.
- Understands maintenance management systems, publication and tool management, support and test equipment.
- Understands the CASG project life cycle (Gate 0 - Post Gate 2 projects).
- Has a background in maintenance support systems and/or systems engineering.
- Can demonstrate the ability to lead and manage a small team.
- Can demonstrate the ability to work effectively across a broad and complex stakeholder group.
