Job Opportunity
* We are looking for an Event Sales Manager to join our team in Australia.
* The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years' experience in event sales and planning, with industry experience preferred but not essential.
* The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and sending quotes, following up on enquiries, and converting wedding and event leads into sales.
* They will also be responsible for managing the effective coordination and execution of weddings, events, and meetings, using technology and their straightforward thinking.
Main Responsibilities
* Generate and manage Banquet Event Orders for upcoming weddings and events, demonstrating strong organisational skills and thoughtful planning to anticipate guest needs.
* Coordinate on-day wedding setups with the operations team, with flexibility to work weekends as required to support event delivery.
* Implement targeted sales strategies to meet revenue goals and KPIs across weddings, social events, and the broader events portfolio.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Minimum 2-3 years' experience in event sales and planning role preferable.
* Industry experience is preferred but not essential.
* Working rights in Australia.
