Overview
The Senior UX UI Designer is responsible for shaping and enhancing the user experience of Dabble's app, leading design processes and proposing brand new user-centered solutions to solve complex design and business problems. You will be responsible for pushing the Dabble platform forward through creativity, innovation, and strong UX and UI fundamentals. Reporting to the Head of User Experience, this role will work closely with the Product and Development teams to create and champion seamless, visually appealing, and highly functional experiences across the app.

Primary Location
This role is currently open to all locations within Australia, however candidates based in Melbourne may be preferred.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore, define and implement UX UI solutions and processes for product direction, visuals, and experience within the app
* Push the Dabble platform forward with innovative, awesome, and creative thinking that brings fun and simplicity to complex design problems
* Define and drive the end-to-end design process, leading initial discovery concepts to final hand-off to engineering teams
* Understanding the Dabble platform at a high level, looking for optimization and uplift opportunities to stay up to date with current design and interaction trends
* Create and own wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and process flows, to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas and concepts to key stakeholders and peers
* Lead user research processes to generate and present key insights, evaluating user feedback to continuously iterate and improve designs
* Champion and build upon design guidelines, best practices, and standards for the app
* Lead by example, mentoring junior designers and contributing to the growth and positive culture of the Product Design team
Skills & Qualifications
* Proven experience leading end-to-end design processes, with a strong portfolio demonstrating a history of innovative, creative and user-centered design solutions, focused on mobile apps
* Mastery of design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Principal
* Strong knowledge of responsive design, mobile-first principles, and accessibility standards
* Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
* Ability to present and effectively communicate conceptual ideas and designs to team members and stakeholders
* Experience in research practices and methodologies to gather user feedback and insights
* Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
* Strong problem-solving skills, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
* A degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or a related field is strongly preferred

Remuneration
The advertised salary for this position is $140,000 - $150,000 + Super + Benefits with room to be flexible.
