Key responsibilities include:Conducting research and development in mass spectrometry technologies and applicationsDesigning and testing scientific instrumentation including charged particle detectors and electromechanical systems
Applying computational physics and simulation methods, including Monte Carlo techniques
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to design, prototype, and validate new solutions
Contributing to product improvement, design reviews, and experimental setups
Participating in technical problem-solving, data analysis, and documentation
Presenting findings and engaging in cross-functional collaboration across the global businessYour ProfileTo succeed in this role, you will be a motivated and scientifically curious individual who enjoys pushing the boundaries of applied research.
Key requirements include:Bachelor's degree in Physics or related discipline (PhD strongly preferred)
Research or commercial experience in mass spectrometry instrumentation, vacuum physics, or charged particle detection
Experience in surface science or computational physics is highly desirable
Strong background in simulation, including Monte Carlo methods
Excellent problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset
Effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
