Description About the role We are seeking an energetic and client focused Legal Assistant to join our friendly Estate Planning team in a part time capacity, ideally four days per week but would consider full time for the right applicant. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collegiate, dynamic and fast paced team, supporting lawyers in their day to day practice. The role is primarily office based, with a minimum of three days per week working from the office and the potential for one day working from home subject to role requirements. Our team includes lawyers who specialise in all aspects of estate planning (including Will and powers of attorney) so knowledge or experience in these areas and/or in broader client services roles will be valued. The role requires a mix of legal administration skills and PA capability. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a firm that values quality, relationships, and innovation. Skills And Experiences What you will do • Manage matter files and documentation across multiple platforms. • Draft and format correspondence, presentations and bills. • Handle client communications, new enquiries and triage calls. • Provide diary and calendar management, scheduling meetings and appointments. • Support billing, reporting, debtor management and accurate record-keeping. • Deliver exceptional client service and share information clearly with team and clients. • Navigate technology systems for efficient communication and file management. • Assist with work allocation and general administrative tasks to keep the team organised and on track. What you will bring • Previous experience as a legal assistant or administrator in a law firm or professional services environment. • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. • Confidence with Microsoft 365 and document management systems (e.g., iManage). • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
