We're seeking a proactive Fleet Operations Officer to support the smooth and safe operation of a diverse fleet. You'll act as the first point of contact for all plant and vehicle enquiries, coordinating repairs, managing job cards, and helping internal teams keep essential services moving.
About the Role
* Handle enquiries relating to plant/vehicle allocation, breakdowns, repairs and workshop requests.
* Create and distribute job cards, ensuring tasks are directed to the correct operational area.
* Liaise with stakeholders and suppliers regarding equipment suitability, hire items, breakdowns, faults, warranties and repairs.
* Coordinate deliveries, pickups, inductions, driver training and equipment checks.
* Maintain accurate records, support contractor and internal audits, and promote safe, efficient fleet operations.
* Assist with operator inductions, competency checks and documentation management.
* Short term contract until April 2026 (potential for extension)
What You'll Bring
* Strong customer service skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
* Experience with fleet, plant, transport or equipment coordination (TechOne or similar systems desirable).
* Confidence engaging with internal teams, suppliers and contractors.
* Solid organisation, record‐keeping and communication skills.
* Mechanical/plant knowledge and experience delivering inductions or training is highly regarded.
Requirements
* Current C‐Class licence (other licences favourable).
* Ability to pass pre‐employment medicals and site‐specific checks.
