ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Plant Operator (Pen Cleaning), you will be required to operate a variety of machinery including Bobcat, Scraper and Loader, Side Tipper, and Water Truck. This role will be responsible for:
* Carrying out pen cleaning, maintenance of grounds and equipment, undertaking machinery operations and control including routine maintenance pre-starts per OEM procedures
* Ensuring that the health and welfare of livestock is given first priority
* Ensuring machinery is kept in clean and safe working order
* Carrying out duties in a manner that prioritises own health and safety and that of others
* Communicating relevant information regarding faults with machinery being operated
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in maintenance of grounds and equipment, together with:
* Demonstrated skill, ability and experience across a variety of heavy equipment operations
* A focus on working safely
* An ability to work cooperatively with a team
* Good organisation and communication skills including an ability to use own initiative
