About the Role
API is looking for a dynamic and results‐driven Recruiter & Onboarding Specialist to support our growth across the Asia‐Pacific (APAC) region. In this role, you will manage full‐cycle recruitment, compliance, and onboarding, ensuring a seamless and professional experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
Hybrid opportunity requiring a minimum of 3 days in the office per week.

What You'll Do
* Manage full‐cycle, end‐to‐end recruitment across APAC for a variety of roles.
* Partner closely with business leaders and HR stakeholders to understand hiring needs.
* Draft and post job ads and job descriptions.
* Source and engage passive candidates using innovative sourcing strategies.
* Conduct phone screens and assess candidate suitability.
* Coordinate interviews and manage candidate communication throughout the process.
* Gather interview feedback and support hiring managers with selection decisions.
* Extend offers and negotiate compensation in alignment with HR and management.
* Ensure recruitment practices align with global standards while meeting local market requirements.
* Provide regular reporting on hiring progress, time‐to‐fill, and recruitment metrics.
* Deliver a seamless onboarding experience for all APAC new hires.
* Prepare employment contracts, onboarding packs, and compliance documents.
* Coordinate onboarding logistics with IT, payroll, and relevant teams.
* Ensure all pre‐employment checks are completed accurately and on time.
* Support global HR teams to maintain consistency in onboarding practices.
What You'll Bring
* Minimum 5 years' experience in full‐cycle recruiting.
* Minimum 3 years' experience recruiting across multiple APAC countries.
* Experience working in a global, matrixed, or private equity‐backed organization.
* Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Excel skills required.
* Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems and comfortable learning new technical systems.
* Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies leveraging LinkedIn Recruiter, with proven ability to headhunt and identify passive talent across diverse roles and industries.
* Knowledge of regional hiring practices and employment regulations.
* Proven ability to manage multiple roles across different countries and time zones.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and cultural awareness.
* Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
* Resourceful, solutions‐focused, and process‐driven with a continuous improvement mindset.
* Ability to work effectively in a team.
Compensation
A$85,000 – 95,000 + 10% bonus + super. Final compensation is determined based on experience, qualifications, skill set, and location, as well as internal equity and external market.
