As a Senior Project Engineer, you provide technical leadership and deliver high‑quality industrial automation projects and services. You design, develop, test, commission, and support systems that meet contract, quality, and safety requirements. This role is pivotal in ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery while driving customer satisfaction and mentoring team members.
Key responsibilities
* Lead technical delivery of industrial automation projects and services.
* Develop specifications, functional descriptions, drawings, and documentation.
* Commission medium to large projects on‑site and remotely.
* Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and governance standards.
* Maintain strong customer relationships and manage expectations.
* Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
* Stay ahead of emerging technologies and contribute to innovation initiatives.
About you
* Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Computer Science, or Engineering Technology, and 7+ years in industrial automation projects/services.
* Strong knowledge of industrial networking, cybersecurity, and cloud integration.
* Exposure to Industry 4.0 technologies (IoT, data analytics, edge computing) desirable.
* Proven leadership of small engineering teams and hands‑on commissioning experience.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage priorities independently and deliver on time.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Advanced understanding of Schneider platforms or equivalent competitor products.
