An exciting role is available within a large site based in the Homebush region. Leading organisation with proud team members holding long term tenure, you will be working within the Site Services Team with two direct reports.
Great role for you to get off the tools and manage day to day functions within this role or utilise your current experience in a maintenance, construction or building supervisory role.
Your day to day duties will include:
- Raise and assign jobs to nominated contractors and site staff
- Prioritise work and follow up on outstanding jobs
- Effectively coordinate and supervise contractors, suppliers and employees in the construction and maintenance of buildings, equipment and plant
- Management of planned and preventative maintenance
- Carry out inspections and supervision of works to ensure all is completed to quality standards
- Attend to after hours call outs as needed
The successful applicant:
- Minimum 3 years experience working within a maintenance, construction/building management role or alternatively you have a trade qualification seeking a supervision role
- Certificate IV in WHS
- Knowledge of the industry in relation to regulations
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and deal with a variety of activities
- Well developed oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to have a good understanding of and be able to interpret construction drawings/plans
- Strong understanding of OH&S processes and requirements
- Can do attitude
