Permanent, Part Time with Flexible hours Professional development Hospital experience desired We current have the opportunity for an enthusiastic Dietitian to join our Allied Health team.
This position will cover a busy, and often complex, clinical caseload in the rehabilitation areas of neurology and neurosurgery, orthopedics, cardiology, general medicine and oncology at Lady Davidson Private Hospital.
The role is a permanent part time position with flexible hours to suit both the individual and hospital.
This position is not suited to a new graduate, however dietitians with hospital experience in line with the essential criteria may apply.
As a dietitian you must have a demonstrated commitment to patient centered care and evidence-based practice.
You will be expected to partake in quality improvement projects.
You must have well developed communication skills and ideally you possess exceptional caseload management skills and an ability to manage competing demands.
You must be able to work independently and accept responsibility for your workload.
Lady Davidson Private Hospital is a 115 inpatient bed hospital and a busy day-patient department, and contributes to the provision of clinical specialties which compliments those of our collocated partner.
Essential Criteria: · Bachelor in Nutrition and Dietetics (or equivalent) · Current Accredited Practicing Dietitian Status · Member of the Dietitians Association of Australia · Hospital experience preferred · Exceptional time management and communication skills · Ability to work autonomously · Proven excellence in customer service delivery · Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team · Commitment to ongoing education and the provision of evidence-based practice Why Healthscope?
