About the role

We are looking for Pool Lifeguards to join our aquatics team at Swan Active Midland on a permanent full‑time basis. We are willing to consider part‑time arrangements for the right candidate.

This role is about ensuring customer visits are safe and enjoyable; we require people who can act immediately in the event of an emergency and provide water rescue and first‑aid care as required.


Key Accountabilities

* Maintain a safe and healthy environment for all facility users by ensuring patron behaviour aligns with pool rules and regulations and taking appropriate action to address any disruptive or difficult individuals as necessary.
* Undertake necessary training and maintain required qualifications.
* Provide diligent supervision of aquatic areas and offer first‑aid treatment as appropriate.
* Assist in the organisation of daily operations of the Centre, including programming and equipment set‑up and pack‑down.
* Carry out routine checks and report required maintenance throughout the facility to ensure all equipment is always fully operational and in safe working condition.


About you

* Current Pool Lifeguard Award
* Current first‑aid certificate
* Pool Manager's Certificate & LIWA Accreditation will be highly regarded
* A satisfactory National Police Certificate is required
* Ability to work early mornings, late evenings, and weekends

Salary

The salary for this position will be from $61,253.16 to $66,460.82 per annum, depending on the skills and experience of the successful applicant. An age modifier will apply to salary for candidates under 21 years of age.
