Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic (Afternoon shift)
Booth Transport is a National Transport Company with a large fleet of late model Kenworths and tankers, we require an experienced workshop mechanic for our Burton depot.

In your new position you will report to the Workshop Manager and will be responsible for the professional repairs and servicing of our modern fleet of Kenworth prime movers and tankers. You will be part of a team that ensures we meet maintenance standards in this fast‐paced role that offers plenty of variety.
Primary duties of the role will include:
* Repair, replace, maintain and test a high volume of company vehicles and related mechanical and electrical components.
* Complete work in a safe and efficient manner in line with company standards.
* Service vehicles in line with the company servicing schedule.
* Accurately complete all paperwork and systems associated with fleet maintenance and repair.
* Support breakdown.
The candidate we are looking for will have:
* Experience in transport.
* Experience with Kenworth, Cummins & trailers.
* Proven competence as a workshop mechanic.
* HR licence (not required, but preferred).
* Sound computer skills.
* Lead, demonstrate and educate employees to embrace a safe & productive work environment.
* Good problem‐solving and planning skills.
* Company uniform supplied; permanent, full‐time position.

* $1,000 sign‐on bonus paid at completion of 6‐month probation.
