Position Details
* Term: Fixed‐term full‐time for two years.
* Location: Kelvin Grove (hybrid option available).
* Remuneration: $111,341 to $120,557 per annum (HEW6), inclusive of salary, superannuation and recreation leave loading.
Position Summary
The Senior Administration Officer (SAO) for TNE Implementation plays a critical role in establishing the operational foundation for QUT College's Transnational Education (TNE) programmes in China. This position focuses on the pre‐commencement and preparatory phase, providing specialist logistical, compliance and human resources support to ensure the smooth launch of the offshore program. The role requires a high degree of initiative, interpretation of international policy, and coordination across multiple internal and external stakeholders. This position reports to the Executive Director, QUT College for career planning, development, and performance expectations.
Key Responsibilities
* Establish the operational foundation for QUT College's TNE programmes in China.
* Provide specialist logistical, compliance and human‐resources support during the pre‐commencement and preparatory phase.
* Interpret international policy and apply relevant legislation to deliver high‐quality services.
* Co‐ordinate with internal departments and external partners to achieve business outcomes.
* Demonstrate initiative, evaluate current systems and processes, and contribute to ongoing improvements in the provision of student services.
* Provide excellent service to a diverse client group in a cross‐cultural environment.
* Maintain digital records and use Office 365, Microsoft suite and other corporate systems.
Qualifications
* Completion of a degree and subsequent relevant experience.
* Well‐developed administrative and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines with limited direction.
* Demonstrated ability to contribute new ideas, evaluate current systems and processes, and drive improvements.
* Interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with a diverse client group in a cross‐cultural environment.
* Ability to interpret and apply relevant policies, procedures, data and legislation.
* Digital literacy skills including Office 365, Microsoft suite, electronic record management systems and other large corporate systems.
