Sydney Sports Management Group (SSMG) are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Officer to join our team at Cintra Park Tennis and Sports Centre.
Located in the heart of Canada Bay, Cintra Park Tennis and Sports Centre supports a range of activities including tennis, netball, futsal, beach volleyball, and table tennis. We offer various options including casual court hire, as well as programmed activities such as competitions, coaching, and membership.
The position involves providing outstanding customer service, meeting customer demands and ability to multitask. You will be efficient, knowledgeable and confident, getting to know your customers and the environment. The facility offers 8 x tennis courts, 6 x multi-sport courts, 2 x beach courts, a small kiosk and a clubhouse.
Duties and responsibilities will involve:
* Support day-to-day operations at reception
* Responding to customer enquiries on site, over the phone, and via email
* Ensure reception and facility are well-presented at all times
* Develop understanding of operations including court bookings and competitions
* Basic food and coffee preparation
* Data entry into the point of sale system
* Ad hoc operational and administrative tasks
* Build strong customers relationships and drive loyalty
Desirable:
* Although not essential, an interest in tennis and sport will be considered highly
To be successful in this role it is essential to have a friendly, customer-focused attitude. You will be tech-savvy, display initiative, an eagerness to learn, and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
A valid Working With Children Check will be required.
Hours: Approximately 10 hours per week. Ideal role for students alongside their study commitments.
