About Us
At Richglen Maintenance Services, we deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality maintenance solutions to the mining and resource sector across Central Queensland. With a strong pipeline of upcoming shutdowns, we are seeking experienced Supervisors, Mechanical Fitters, Boilermakers, Riggers, and other shutdown support personnel to join our growing team.
Upcoming Shutdowns
Richglen has multiple shutdown opportunities across Daly Bay, German Creek, Foxleigh, Hay Point, Saraji, and Hail Creek, running from April through to October 2026.
These works include a range of CHPP and port shutdowns, offering opportunities across various trades and skillsets.
* April – May: Shutdown works commencing at Daly Bay and German Creek
* June – August: Projects at Foxleigh, and Saraji
* August – October: Extended shutdowns at Hail Creek
Roster and duration will vary depending on site and project requirements, with some roles offering accommodation and structured rosters.
Positions Available
We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced:
* Supervisors
* Mechanical Fitters
* Boilermakers
* Riggers
* Other shutdown support roles
About You
* Previous experience in mining, CHPP, or heavy industry shutdowns
* Relevant trade qualifications and/or tickets
* Strong safety focus and work ethic
* Ability to work within a team in fast-paced environments
Tickets & Requirements
Candidates must hold (or be willing to obtain):
* Standard 11
* Coal Board Medical
* Relevant Trade Qualification (where applicable)
* Working at Heights
* Confined Space
* Gas Test Atmospheres
