**Job Description**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective management of electrical systems at our Fixed Plant crushing and screening operations.
The Electrician will work independently and as part of a team to carry out a range of tasks including:
* Carrying out statutory inspections, checks, testing and recording
* Maintenance and fault-finding of low voltage variable speed drives
* Maintenance of PLC systems, Citect, and SCADA control systems
* Assisting maintenance workers with maintenance and servicing of plant and equipment during shutdowns and breakdowns
* Control and operation of the crushing plant when required
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A minimum 12 months demonstrated experience performing maintenance duties within a crushing plant or similar fixed-plant environment
* A minimum 2 years mining/heavy experience as an electrician
* A current Western Australian 'A' Grade Electrical Licence
* A current Manual C Class or above driver's licence
* A current MRL and/or BHP induction status
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol screen
* Holding, or willingness to obtain, a National Police Clearance valid within 12 months
* Ability to complete online inductions
* Full Australian work rights
* Completion of CPCWHS**** – Prepare to work safely in the construction industry (Construction 'White card')
