**Job Opportunity:** Developmental Educator
* As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities.
Our ideal candidate possesses a strong passion for removing barriers and empowering individuals to make their own life choices. With your expertise in developmental education, you will work closely with participants and their support networks to develop new skills and habits, problem-solve challenges, and champion the social model of therapy.
**Responsibilities Include:**
1. Collaborating with participants and their key supports to identify and address barriers to participation and inclusion
2. Developing and implementing tailored plans to enhance independence and quality of life outcomes
3. Working with the interdisciplinary team to provide wrap-around supports and services
4. Conducting initial assessments using evidence-based tools and frameworks
**Requirements:
* Bachelor or Master's degree in Disability or related field
* Eligibility for membership with Developmental Educators Australia Inc (DEAI)
* Suitability assessment and registration as a Behaviour Support Practitioner with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission
* Passion for removing barriers and empowering individuals
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
